Services at St Michaels
8am: Our Holy Communion (BCP)
A beautiful, quiet, peaceful service and the perfect way to start your Sunday.
Our 8am communion service takes place in the chapel at St Michael’s every week.
We follow the timeless liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer, uninterrupted by hymns, and hear a short sermon to inspire us for the week ahead.
If you’re looking for space to stop, refocus and find some rest, come along.
9.15am: our Family Service
A short, fun and vibrant service with singing, stories and drama, our family service is perfect to blow off those cobwebs from a busy week.
With singing, stories, drama and biscuits too, everyone is welcome at our lively family service.
We’re always reminded what’s important in life and leave uplifted, ready for whatever comes next.
10.45am: our Traditional Service (BCP)
Following the best traditions of the Church of England, our 10.45 service helps us connect with God and one another.
This service alternates the Morning Prayer and the Holy Communion liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer.
With music led by our church choir and organ, a thought provoking sermon and time to think and pray, our traditional service connects us to the past whilst inspiring us for the future.
(Morning Prayer, 2nd, 4th, 5th Sundays of the Month; Holy Communion, 3rd Sunday of the month).
